Best decision ever
Hi there! I’m 23 years old mum to be from Poland. I must admit that I was biased (in a bad way) when it comes to k-pop because of some girls from my high school. So, when I found out that Boy with Luv is by a k-pop band, I was really surprised. I’m a Halsey fan and that’s how I discovered boys, through their song that was on her Spotify playlist. So, when it turned out that it’s such a bop, I listened to the whole Persona album and I was so impressed! I had no idea that they rap too, and lyrics just blew me away. I’m ashamed…
You’re my worst kept secret
I am a busy working mum of 2. I had never being a fan of any artist before. My obsessions when I was a teenager were male and female athletes from quite obscure sports. And then my life got too busy to actually have a time-consuming hobby. Higher education, a PhD abroad, a first baby, a first job, then a house, a second baby… Music was always an afterthought, a few songs on a playlist on repeat, mostly “dad rock” songs, and that was it. Because I had no time to actually sit down and watch movies or TV shows anymore, YouTube became one of my few pockets of escapism.…
Growth: Discovering BTS, &; Myself
What everyone says is true. BTS finds you when you need them most - and then you grow together. Maybe it was the sound of the music, maybe it was the thought-provoking lyrics, maybe it was the sincerity in their eyes, or the tangible bond between the members - but something pulled me in. They have helped me discover so many things about myself, and taught me a new kind of love. I only hope the things I can do as an ARMY allow me to give back even a fraction of the life they have given me.
Happy place
How many of them are there?! How do they sing while dancing?! How do they keep smiling while singing and dancing?!
BTS Brings Magic Into My Life!
"BTS music comforted me; their videos make me laugh, their messages empower me, and they are all gorgeous, I can't deny. My ARMY friends play a big part in my recovery, too. They continuously encouraged me to live. I found a family in the fandom."
Thank you ARMY
What a wonderful feeling to see ARMY sharing their stories on day one. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to hearing from more of you. And if the first day is going this well, then I can only imagine what the future holds. Fighting! MJ Chard
Depression and a Debt of Gratitude
I’m positive I would be telling a completely different more devastating story had it not been for my daughter finding BTS when she did.
Blood, Sweat and What??
Hello ARMY and all reading this. My name is Wendie. A 40 yr old who comes from a little town in Ontario, Canada. BTS found me in 2016 when I was at one of my lowest points ever. I suffer from PTSD due to childhood trauma. I was adopted at the age of 8 into an amazingly loving and kind family but what had happened to me in my early years and what I had to deal with has left its marks permanently etched into my being. Because of my PTSD I have depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I struggle to sleep, with migraines and other health issues and daily…
